The subtler one's awareness, the more powerfully it can heal.

My favorite: Spirituality is a domain of awareness.
Interpretation
Spirituality involves a heightened awareness of oneself and the universe.
Deepak Chopra's quote suggests that spirituality goes beyond mere rituals or beliefs; it embodies a deep level of awareness about oneself and one's connection to the broader universe. This awareness allows individuals to explore deeper meanings in life, promote personal growth, and connect with a sense of greater purpose.
In practice
In a meditation session, you might say, 'As Deepak Chopra reminds us, spirituality is a domain of awareness.'
The subtler one's awareness, the more powerfully it can heal.
To promote the healing response, you must get past all the grosser levels of the body - cells, tissues, organs and systems -- and arrive at a junction point between mind and matter, the point where consciousness actually starts to have an effect.
It is only because you take your mind to be yourself, and make it dwell on what you are not, that you lose your sense of well-being.
The most creative act you will ever undertake is the act of creating yourself.
According to Vedanta, there are only two symptoms of enlightenment, just two indications that a transformation is taking place within you toward a higher consciousness. The first symptom is that you stop worrying. Things don't bother you anymore. You become light hearted and full of joy. The second symptom is that you encounter more and more meaningful coincidences in your life, more and more synchronicities. And this accelerates to the point where you actually experience the miraculous.
I will practice acceptance. Today I will accept people, situations, circumstances, and events as they occur. I will know that this moment is as it should be, because the whole universe is as it should be. I will not struggle against the whole universe by struggling against this moment. My acceptance is total and complete. I accept things as they are this moment, not as I wish they were.
Every account of a higher power that I've seen described, of all religions that I've seen, include many statements with regard to the benevolence of that power. When I look at the universe and all the ways the universe wants to kill us, I find it hard to reconcile that with statements of beneficence.
Freedom is the recognition of necessity.
Most sets of values would give rise to universes that, although they might be very beautiful, would contain no one able to wonder at that beauty.
There's a very committed effort to convert the US into something resembling a Third World society, where a few people have enormous wealth and a lot of others have no security.
Learn to reverence night and to put away the vulgar fear of it, for, with the banishment of night from the experience of man, there vanishes as well a religious emotion, a poetic mood, which gives depth to the adventure of humanity.
Pitch-black winter nights live in my bones.
